We explored the San Blas archipelago aboard the deluxe sailing catamaran ZENITH. Here we enjoyed the sun, sea and sailed away from the tourists, surrounded by 365 palm-laden Caribbean islands, crystal-clear water, coral reefs, white sandy beaches, shells, and starfish. No concrete buildings or tiled swimming pools here, yet with more activities than you can imagine!
The all-inclusive ZENITH is absolutely the best option. Rated 5-Star, this 48’ long and 25’ wide French-built yacht is well-equipped to accommodate 2 to 8 guests plus small children on private charters of 3 – 7 days. This modern, light, bright, catamaran has 4 cabins, each with a private bathroom, shower, auto-flush toilet, full-size bed, 110v electrical outlets, high-speed USB chargers, Wi-Fi and hotel bath amenities. Here you have the choice of air-conditioned indoor or al-fresco dining, plus several social areas and multiple open and shaded locations to comfortably relax. Our favorite was the huge, comfortable trampoline up front, with a sunshade above.
Fresh meals are prepared onboard, including fresh lobster (in season), appetizers, fruit, all-day snacks and the famous Captain’s beef-filet barbecue! Entrees include unique dishes developed by renowned chef consultant Alicia Ye. All is included, with bottled wines, popular liquors, mixers, beers and soft drinks. No stomach worries because ZENITH only uses bottled water for drinks, ice and cooking! Each menu is created and shopped before you arrive, after soliciting your preferences and dietary restrictions. When children are expected, kid-friendly favorites are added.
For your water pleasure, there are 3 kayaks, 3 stand-up paddle boards, 2 underwater electric scooters, boogie boards, inflatables, a motorized dinghy, fishing gear, as well as adult and child-sized snorkels, fins, and sport lifejackets. On-board comforts include deck lounge cushions, a hammock, yoga mats, an incredible Bluetooth sound system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Blue-ray movies, acoustic guitar, and party lighting. For the beach, there are mats, umbrellas, a boom box, iced coolers for beverages, and a walkie-talkie to call for more. Sand toys for the kids. Free sailing lessons. Just amazing!
Private air charter to-from San Blas can be arranged, or alternate road transportation, at cost. Other venues such as Costa Arriba Day-sails and shorter San Blas charters are available. Welcome aboard!
