In this section, The Restaurant Magazine wants to promote initiatives and projects that benefit the different communities in Panama City and surrounding areas. This time we talk about Centro Tagua.
Tagua is the Hotel School of the Women, Culture and Development Association, and the Association for Cultural Cooperation, two Panamanian non-profit NGOs. This school trains Panamanian women to enter the labor market in hospitality and tourism, providing hoteliers with highly trained personnel located in Cerro Azul. In this place, 100% of the students are scholarship recipients.
Through a great variety of educational programs, the Hotel School seeks to train Panamanian women in the culture of service based on comprehensive, quality professional and human training that allows them to incorporate and stand out in the working society.

This mission is supported by a work team made up of professionals from different areas, including hotel, gastronomy, social, and educators, among others; united by the commitment to carry out quality work for a better Panama within the service area, supported by important sponsors.
