It was another cold, wet day on the British Columbia West Coast of Canada in February 2000. It had been raining for what seemed like a month and I remember thinking to myself “this is crazy, why do we live here”. That was it. My quest had begun and like many, it did not take long for Panama to make it onto the list.

My wife, Barbara and I visited Panama for the first time in 2003, at that time we owned and operated a large design, construction management and custom millwork shop in Canada that specialized in bars, restaurants, and liquor stores. In 2011 we decided it was time to get serious and make the dream of living in Panama a reality, so booked a one-month trip hiring a relocation consultant in Panama to help us with the details.

We visited many parts of Panama to decide what would be right for us was the Chiriquí province, more specifically the David / Boquete area. We saw great business potential along with nice schools for the kids and good existing infrastructure. Then, in 2012 we finally settled originally in David and eventually bought a home in Alto Boquete. Our personal mission when we started Pan Pacific Interiors was to provide our clients with an exceptional product that exceeded their expectations. We wanted to create an all-inclusive experience that dealt with and eliminated as many of the frustrations that people experienced when building or renovating. With this goal in mind, we decided along with full design services we would provide both cabinet and stone countertop fabrication. We have also begun offering flooring, blinds, plumbing, electrical and demolition services.
